This Privacy Policy is provided in English for clarity and international accessibility.
StorePilot™ is an independent software project that provides an economic simulation tool for the preliminary evaluation of food retail locations.
1. Data Controller

2. Personal Data Collected
When a user requests a report through the simulator, StorePilot™ may collect and process the following information:
- email address;
- project location, if voluntarily entered;
- simulation parameters entered in the tool;
- pre-booking data entered by the user in the optional Cal.com / Cal.eu form (for example: name, phone number, project location, project status, project description);
- consent preferences selected by the user;
- submission date and time;
- technical data strictly necessary for hosting, delivery and security of the service.
Users must not submit sensitive personal data or any information that is unnecessary for the requested service.
3. Purposes of Processing
Data may be processed for the following purposes:
- to generate and deliver the requested report by email;
- to send a service communication related to the generated report, including a call to action to optionally book a follow-up call;
- to store lead and report data in internal operational records, including Google Sheets, for service management, lead tracking and follow-up;
- to send a copy of the submitted information and generated report internally to StorePilot™ operators for operational handling, analytics, quality monitoring and follow-up communication;
- to review submitted information internally in order to evaluate the relevance of a request before confirming an optional follow-up call;
- if the user chooses to access the optional Cal.com / Cal.eu form, to collect and evaluate pre-booking project information needed to qualify and organize the requested follow-up call;
- to maintain, monitor and improve the functionality and security of the service;
- if the user has given separate consent, to send informational and promotional communications relating to StorePilot™, Horeca Code and related services.
4. Legal Bases
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing necessary to provide the report and related service requested by the user;
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in maintaining operational records, protecting the service, managing qualified inbound requests, and reviewing pre-booking details before optional follow-up meetings;
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent for non-essential analytics cookies and optional marketing communications.
5. Third-Party Services
StorePilot™ may rely on third-party service providers, including:
- Netlify – website hosting;
- Streamlit Cloud – application hosting;
- MailerSend – transactional and marketing email delivery;
- Squarespace – domain registration and management;
- Google Sheets / Google Workspace – internal storage and handling of submitted lead and report data;
- Cal.com / Cal.eu or equivalent scheduling tools – optional form and meeting booking; when a user proceeds to booking, the relevant provider may receive the data entered in that form according to its own terms and privacy policy.
These providers may process limited data strictly necessary to perform their services. StorePilot™ does not sell personal data.
6. Marketing Communications
Marketing communications are sent only if the user has actively selected the optional marketing checkbox. Such consent may be withdrawn at any time by using the unsubscribe option, where available, or by contacting privacy@storepilot.eu.
7. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service and manage the resulting inquiry.
Lead, report and pre-booking request data may be retained for up to 24 months for operational, analytical and follow-up purposes.
Data stored in operational records (including Google Sheets) is periodically reviewed and removed when no longer necessary for the purposes described above.
Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn or the data is no longer reasonably needed.
8. User Rights
Subject to applicable law, users may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction or objection regarding their personal data by contacting privacy@storepilot.eu.

StorePilot™ provides illustrative financial simulations based on user-provided assumptions. Outputs are indicative only and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, investment or professional advice.
